Our Story

Linden Thomas & Company is the private wealth management firm strategically committed to delivering pure, objective, and disciplined investing in providing clients the most efficient path to wealth accumulation, protection, and assets transfer.
The firm is led by founder Stephen Thomas, a respected and award-winning leader with over 30 years of experience and widely recognized by Barron's, Forbes, Financial Times, and other trusted sources as one of America's top wealth managers and advisors. Thomas' vision was to create a firm committed to delivering the best results by building efficient portfolios focusing on investment results and delivering independent investment advice to avoid the conflicts of interest of traditional large investment firms.

Thomas' vision was two fold: to build a world-class institutional portfolio management company and to build a team of industry experts so each Linden Thomas & Company client has access to world-class advice and consulting. To do the first, Thomas stepped away from big wall street firms and established his own broker-dealer/investment firm through the SEC and FINRA to build an institutional asset management firm where investor's assets could be managed directly. By doing so, this allows investors direct access to earnings-focused index portfolios (index direct) where each Linden Thomas & Company client owns stocks directly rather than going through a third-party fund.

By doing so, Thomas found that investor's results were enhanced through investor ownership, tax advantages, quality, and cost savings. Additionally, this gave investors total transparency of all investor holdings, unlike retail products. With the earnings-focused indexes alongside the Linden Thomas & Company yield-focused fixed income portfolios, clients had direct access to portfolio management, giving clients significant advantages over retail advisors. They typically charge a fee and then invest in third-party investment funds like mutual funds and ETFs.

The other goal was to build a team of expert financial planners, retirement planners, bond and equity specialists, and service experts to ensure each Linden Thomas & Company client was the best informed, educated and serviced clients.

Our business model integrates our comprehensive investment experience, knowledge, and wealth services with a client-driven approach and personal service to build tailored and efficient portfolios to fit each client's particular circumstances. Our boutique size and independent structure give us a unique advantage over bigger, often bureaucratic financial institutions. As a boutique, we are nimble, focused, and fully committed to providing clients personal attention. As an independent firm, we deliver objective, unbiased wealth advice.

Essential to our commitment to consistent, long-term results, we are driven by seven core investment principles that guide our investment approach and client experience.

These seven core investment principals are:

As a result, Linden Thomas & Company is quickly building a reputation as one of the nation's premier independent firms - helping clients navigate today's continually evolving and volatile global markets to help them achieve their goals and enrich their financial futures.

Most importantly, we are unwavering in our values and commitment to the clients' well-being and the fabric of our community. At Linden Thomas & Company, we believe that giving back to those in need is the responsibility of anyone who has been blessed with abundance. To whom much has been given, much is required. That is why our firm remains deeply involved in various ministries and charities--and gives away a percentage of our revenues to essential causes and people in need, especially underprivileged children.

We look forward to working together to secure your financial future and shape a better world.
